What do you want the future to sound like?

Listen. Then Act.

The ever-increasing tempo of climate change has been building for quite some time, and it’s becoming impossible to ignore.

Know what else is hard to ignore? Music. That’s why The ClimateMusic Project has partnered with Cool Effect. They use science-guided music to tell the story of climate change, so you can listen to the planet with open ears and take action with an even more open heart.

Look, we all know (even the skeptics) that the Earth is warming, and we know that carbon pollution is a primary cause. What we often don’t know is what to do about it.

Welcome to Cool Effect. We take the world’s best carbon-reducing projects and put them all in one place, so you can choose how you want to fight global warming with the simple touch of a button-it’s that easy.

Let’s face the music and fight climate change together!

How a stove became a hero.

In a country where 93 percent of people cook food over toxic fires, an unexpected invention is saving both the lives of locals and the planet at large: a cookstove. This project is reducing carbon emissions by 58 percent per household. And even more importantly, with clean combustion, it’s helping save the lives of Ugandans by lowering the absurd number of deaths from noxious smoke.
